I graduated from Riverside High School in Lake City, AR in 2007. From there, I attended Arkansas Northeastern College in Blytheville AR. I was able to earn my 2 year associate degree and then enroll in the Arkansas State University Education Program. I obtained my Bachlor’s in Early Childhood Education (Preschool-Fourth Grade) from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR in 2012. After teaching for a few years I decided to work towards my masters. I earned my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Arkansas State in 2017. I then went on to obtain my Educational Specailist Degree in Adminstration for Principal in 2018.
This is my first year at Fox Meadow School of Creative Media. I am currently teaching third grade math and science. GO RAIDERS!
I first started teaching in August of 2012. I taught fourth grade math at Carroll Smith Elementary in Osceola, AR.
In August of 2013 I transfered to Trumann Elementary in Trumann, AR where I taught third grade reading and social studies for two years. After this, I moved to fourth grade to teach math for four years.
I have been married to my wonderful husband Chris for two years now. We have one daughter named Finleigh. Finleigh is one year old. We have three dogs; Margo, Hazel, and Lola.
When I am not teaching I love spending with my family, friends, and dogs. Some of my favorite activites or hobbies would include: traveling, reading, photography, and going to the zoo. I love movies and music as well!
